Every cup of Fairtrade coffee can directly support the lives of poor farmers in developing countries. Coffee is a very lucrative industry in the West because of the instability of the coffee market. Middlemen and businessmen make a lot of profits from it, which leads to a cycle of poverty for coffee farmers with low labor in developing countries such as Africa. As a result, many children cannot afford to go to school and have joined the ranks of exploitation, aggravating the environmental damage to the tropical rainforest. Unfair trade is also one of the main causes of poverty in Africa and other countries.
