Taiwan coffee has an excellent aroma and a unique slight acid. after being properly roasted, it tastes mild and smooth. It was introduced by the Japanese at first, but declined with the withdrawal of the Japanese. It is not until now that the combination of traditional industries and tourism and leisure has sprung up again, but the output is limited.
Therefore, the price is not cheap.
Western "mountain" coffee: hand-brewed coffee has a floral flavor, tea flavor and medium sour taste, which is similar to that of alpine coffee in Central and South America, including Dongli, Nantou, Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan and other regions.
Southern "high prototype" coffee: floral and chocolate-flavored, not sour nor astringent, similar to coffee from the Isopia plateau, mainly from the Dawu Mountain system in Pingtung.
Eastern "coastal" coffee: with floral and spicy flavor, obvious sour taste, the characteristics of coffee beans are similar to those of island coffee producing areas.
Internationally certified American Fine Coffee Association (SCAA), Mr. Li Gaoming's Alishan Tropical Dance Classic Coffee in 2009 won the 11th place in SCAA's "Coffee of the year". (83.5 points, only 12 per year, and only Asia was selected in that year)
