Cuban geography and coffee cultivation:
Cuba is located south of the Tropic of Cancer at 2130 degrees north latitude in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea on the edge of the North Atlantic. With an area of 110860 square kilometers, it is the largest island in the Caribbean Sea. Most of the topography of the island is plain, both flat and undulating. The southeast of the island is mountainous.
Consumption of Cuban coffee is an important daily cultural and social activity in Cuba, as well as in Cuban exile communities around the world.
Four to six cups of Cuban coffee and many small cups of coffee are served in a large cup called Colada for everyone to share.
