FINCA LA HUERTA
Jorge Lanza (Jorge Lanza) started a coffee sideline in order to give children a better future. He was told the importance of producing high-quality coffee. Then he bought the tallest coffee farm he could buy in the Santa Barbara Mountains. During a visit to Honduras, he tasted Jorge's coffee and encouraged him to participate in the Cup of Excellence. He won the gold medal in the catuai category he participated in in 2013.
Sasa and Jorge are very close, and they have done many experiments together. If hot helps Sasa to understand coffee plants, but also to understand the difficulties and reality of coffee producers. To help the Honduran community, Sasa understands that he needs to be one of them. George helped Sasa buy a piece of land next to his farm. Owning our own farm definitely helps us to correctly understand how much effort it takes to produce a good product. Jorge helped Origin Project manage our first coffee farm, Finca Beti.
