About the Ayarza area

This coffee comes from the Ayalza region in Santa Rosa. The typical feature of this beautiful area is a lake formed by the crater of an extinct volcano, which is called Lake Ayaza. Because of this 20,000-year-old crater, the area is rich in volcanic soil, supporting many coffee producers. The local climate also helps to produce wonderful coffee, warm days and cool nights. Our partner in Guatemala, Terra Negra, works with local producers to produce this washed coffee mixture.
