Pink bourbon is a cross between red and yellow bourbon. This is very rare, but the manufacturer says it is quite resistant to rust. Pink and orange bourbon are hard to reconcile. The recessive genes that cause these colors to be expressed are easily blocked by the presence of yellow and red genes in given pollen grains. A carefully isolated and included lot can be done well and maintain the unique colors and characteristics of this variety, although it is difficult to find.
