Starbucks signed cooperation with Yunnan Aiyi Group

In order to further develop Yunnan Province of China into a producer of premium coffee beans, Starbucks (Nasdaq: SBUX) announced on July 15, 2011, the signing of a MOU with Aiyi Group, one of Yunnan's most powerful agricultural and coffee companies. Based on the memorandum, the two sides will set up a joint venture to buy and export high-quality Arabica coffee beans from Yunnan, while operating coffee and coffee in the area.
