World Coffee Science Congress held in Kunming in November

Chen Zhenjia, secretary-general of the local organizing committee of the 26th World Coffee Science Congress, said that at present, the organizing committee has set up an organizing committee composed of six universities, more than 10 national and provincial research institutes, and more than 10 coffee industry associations, and has sent more than 10,000 invitations to scientists and entrepreneurs from more than 80 countries around the world. In addition to the main venue in Kunming, a branch venue will be set up in Mangshi, Dehong Prefecture. During the meeting, world and domestic coffee brands will be displayed in the mode of exhibition.

It should be pointed out that so far, China has not obtained a seat as a member of the International Coffee Organization, which poses a potential obstacle to the formulation of export standards for raw coffee beans and equal participation in international trade competition. The 26th World Coffee Science Congress in Kunming marks the improvement of the comprehensive strength of China's coffee industry, will promote the dialogue between China and the global coffee producing and consuming countries, and will greatly promote the improvement of the international status of Chinese coffee in the future.
