According to a recent report on MSNBC, the journal Experimental Psychology published an interesting study. Researchers recruited college volunteers and randomly asked them to eat a capsule containing 100, 200, or 400 milligrams of caffeine, or no caffeine at all. Forty-five minutes after eating the capsules, they were asked to read an article, find spelling and grammatical errors, and correct them. It was found that people who consumed more than 200 milligrams of caffeine had the best ability to detect and correct grammatical errors compared with people who did not consume caffeine, and the more caffeine they consumed, the more effective the effect was. Caffeine makes our brains more alert and therefore more perceptive, researchers say. However, for those who drink coffee regularly, it takes more than usual to have an effect
