CHEMEX drip filter coffee maker (FILTER- DRIP COFFEEMAKER) was invented by German scientist Dr. Peter Schlumbohm in the United States in 1941. For more than half a century, it has been loved by coffee lovers around the world, including Charles & Ray Eames, Liu Zongli and other designers, and has been collected as permanent exhibits by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and other museums in New York.

Chemex developed an hourglass coffee pot inspired by high-temperature and corrosion-resistant borate glass flasks. The whole glass pot is combined with solid wood anti-scalding handles with belts. It is praised by the New York Times as "one of the 100 most influential inventions" and the Los Angeles Times as "the most popular coffee pot".
