If you just bought a new flannel filter, remove the flannel filter from the metal ring and boil it in water for 5 minutes, then put it on the iron ring.
Grind coffee beans. The amount of coffee powder used to make coffee with flannel is more than that of a conventional drip filter; the normal amount is 45-50g; the coffee powder is thicker to grind, similar to that used in a French kettle.
Use hot water warm flannel cloth and the bottom kettle for 1 minute, then pour out the water in the kettle.
Pour the ground coffee powder into the flannel filter cloth and keep it soft without pressing.
Use wooden or bamboo strips to put the coffee powder on the edge to the middle to make a soft mound.
Poke a 50-cent coin-sized pit on the top of the coffee powder pile with a stick, about the height of a thumbtack.
Let the boiling water temperature drop to about 80 degrees. Start to brew and gently water the pit in the middle of the coffee powder, which should be very slow (45ml water, finish for 45 seconds). Do not worry about whether the steaming is saturated and complete, due to the capillary principle and enough time to infiltrate. Rest for 45 seconds after watering.
Final pour! This time, water the 60ml in the center of the powder in 30 seconds, and water the 185ml in 3 minutes and 20 seconds again.
After the brewing process is completed, preheat the drinking cup with hot water. Coffee brewed with flannel is cooler than other conventional brews. Heat the cup with hot water before drinking it to make the coffee taste better. Please don't heat the brewed coffee in the microwave.
