Aeropress is an easy-to-operate coffee maker with a pressurized extraction feature that distinguishes it from hand-filtered coffee (also known as hand-brewed coffee). Today we introduce you to the use of Aeropress coffee:
Before making coffee:
Prepare filter paper, put it in filter, rinse filter paper with hot water, then install filter and brewer, put it on coffee pot for use.
Grind fresh coffee beans into coffee powder before pouring water into the coffee (we recommend that you have a grinder to make your own coffee better). If you use beans from Doushu Coffee Roasting Workshop, we recommend that the ratio of coffee to water used to make coffee is 1:12. At Uncle Bean, we use 15 grams of coffee beans and 180 grams of water.
After injecting about 180 grams of hot water, use the stirring rod to mix the coffee powder and hot water evenly, gently cover the piston,(from the beginning of the water injection timing) until the coffee powder and hot water soak time to about 45 seconds, remove the piston, use the stirring rod to stir the coffee again, after stirring, you can use the piston to suppress the coffee. The technique is to press the coffee down slowly.
After all the coffee is pressed into the coffee pot, shake it up and pour it into the coffee cup to enjoy a cup of freshly made delicious coffee. Brew coffee with hot water at a temperature between 85 ° C and 90 ° C (depending on the freshness of the coffee beans, the fresher the coffee beans are, the cooler the hot water, such as 85 ° C).
