Izu Coffee Bookstore Family refit Cafe Design

When the owner retired, he decided to move to the famous hot spring resort village of Izu. They plan to build a coffee shop and library here so that neighbors or passers-by can stop here. The site is located in a special piece of land with a low-lying side of the site, but the architect Yoshiharu Tsukamoto and Momoyo Kaijima cleverly arranges the house along the periphery of the site according to the topography, and occupies it across the low-lying area, which forms the entrance to the courtyard. The whole building is almost U-shaped, including two bedrooms, a kitchen, a coffee shop and bookstore, and a studio, all arranged in one sequence.
