Beijing HOME CAFE Cafe

The house that looks like a plant store is actually a coffee shop in Beijing-Home Cafe. It is designed by Beijing Penda Studio.

Penda Studio was commissioned by Hongkun Group to carry out a store concept design for their coffee brand Home Caf é-providing a place to breathe freely in China's heavily polluted areas.

Living in Beijing today, it seems as if it is a great enjoyment to take a breath of clean air, so green and ecology have become the key words of this design. The "lattice" welded by steel bar forms several groups of modules according to different proportions, and the different combinations of modules form the "wall". As a filler, the wooden box also evolves different sizes, long or short, within the control range of the module.

The primary filling of the box is, of course, a green plant for purifying the air, and then it can be used as a bookshelf in some convenient locations.

The grid is occasionally dotted with acrylic to make a glowing box. So light, plants, oxygen, knowledge and coffee create a great place to forget your troubles and be isolated from the rest of the world. Appreciable, audible, tasty, breathable in Home Cafe.
