LAVAZZA designs the first space coffee machine ISSpresso
In order to satisfy the astronauts' desire to drink coffee in space, Italian coffee brand LAVAZZA recently launched the first Italian coffee machine ISSpresso that can be used in the space environment, and its design work is also supported by aerospace design studio Argotes and the Italian National Space Agency. The ISSpresso is made of special steel, the brewed coffee is poured into a vacuum bag, and the astronauts drink it with a straw.
Although drinking coffee like this loses some mood, it's a good start, and ISSpresso can also make tea or thaw food, and it is expected to be sent to the International Space Station for astronauts to use.
