The price of Arabica coffee beans is close to a three-month high.
Last updated 2026-09-29 — The price of ICE Arabica coffee beans hit a three-month high of $1.4260 a pound on Friday, reaching a three-month high of $1.3945 in December, up 0.6% from the previous day's close, reflecting a report released on Friday that the weekly speculative net short position had more than halved as of last Tuesday. A senior trader pointed out that short covering occurred on Tuesday, but trading was light.
ICE Arabica coffee bean futures closed 0.6 per cent higher Tuesday at $1.3945 from Friday's three-month high of $1.4260 a pound, reflecting Friday's report that speculative net short positions had more than halved for the week to Tuesday.
A senior trader noted that there was short-covering on Tuesday, but trading was light. (Business Instant)
