Indonesia won the title of "World Coffee Paradise"

Recently, Indonesia won the reputation of "World Coffee Paradise" at the "boutique Coffee Exhibition" held in Seattle, USA. From January to December 2014, US coffee imports from Indonesia totaled US $323 million, an increase of 11.29 percent over the same period last year, according to the Census Bureau of the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Despite an increase in exports last year, Indonesian coffee has a market share of only 5.5% in the United States, behind Brazil, Colombia, Vietnam, Canada and Guatemala. Nimad Ayumaldini, Commercial Commissioner of the Indonesian Embassy in the United States, said that Indonesian coffee has many kinds and tastes good, and the honorary title will help to increase the scale of Indonesian coffee exports.
