The 2014 Hangzhou Coffee Western Food Festival opened. The theme of the event is "Coffee-Pride of Colombia". During the three-day event, Hubin Yintai held a live presentation, promotion, display and tasting of Colombian coffee culture.
At the same time, the World Barista (World Barista Championship, WBC) contest, China's Hangzhou Division Competition, was also held at the Coffee and Western Food Festival. WBC, initiated by the international authoritative boutique coffee association, European Fine Coffee Association (SCAE) and American Fine Coffee Association (SCAA), began in 2000, and some people call it the Olympic Games of the coffee industry. The winners of China's regional competitions compete at the Shanghai Hotel supplies Expo every year, and the champions will go overseas to participate in the World Barista Competition.
