Soak tea for sensory evaluation of tea
Following our previous article, we have two samples of English breakfast black tea. Sample A comes from tea bag and sample B comes from loose leaves. The following picture shows the tea after soaking for 5 minutes. The ratio of tea to water is 1g: 50mL.
A cup is tea bag, B cup is loose leaf
The aroma is not three-dimensional and not fresh. The color is dark red. Bitter, astringent, with a hint of sweetness. The tea is in the shape of broken leaves, fine and sand-grained.
Group C and D are Keemun Black Tea
The aroma is more inclined to old tea, with an unpleasant smell. The color of the tea is red and dull, and the golden aperture of the outer ring of the tea is not obvious. It smells of decay. With a considerable number of stems and stems, the color of tea is bleak.
