Neri is a delightful town in the foothills of Aberdale with vast green meadows and gardens. The foothills are covered with dense eucalyptus forests, and the magnificent Mount Kenya can be seen in the northeast. Most of the surrounding areas are used for agriculture. Coffee and tea are important cash crops.
NYERI area
Nyeri is located in the highlands of central Kenya, between the Abadre Mountains and the southwest slope of Mount Kenya (extinct volcano).
The volcanic soil in this area breeds the best Kenyan coffee.
Altitude: 1200-2300 m
Harvest period: October-December (main production season), June-August

From the Gatomboya washing station in the Nyeri region of Kenya, where it is beaten, fermented, washed and dried.
Gatomboya is one of four factories that make up the Barichu Farmers' Cooperative, which is made up of about 700 farmers from four surrounding villages.
