SANA'A
Many of the high-priced coffees exported from Yemen bear the names of varieties grown in the region. The region, which originated in the city of Sana'a, continues to be one of the most densely populated and oldest cities in the world, and is 2200 meters (7200 feet) above sea level, making it the highest city in the world. As a region, this is the largest Yemeni coffee producer in Yemen.
SANTA CRUZ
Located in the easternmost part of Bolivia, there is a general lack of high-quality coffee at altitude. Some coffee is produced around lchilo province, although coffee is far less important than other staple crops such as ─ rice or wood. Because most of the natural gas is discovered in this area, the area is very important to the country's economy.
