Gelana Abaya,
Yirgacheffe and Wenago,
But generally speaking,
What Yegashefi refers to is Gedeo.
Coffee produced in the administrative region is generally known
This batch of Yegashev was manufactured at Kebel Aricha Processing Plant.
Around 650-700 small coffee farmers live nearby,
Farmers send ripe coffee berries here to be processed and exchanged for cash.
After the processing plant selects the available berries, they are placed directly on the shelf and exposed to sunlight.
It is turned every 2-3 hours for the first few days to prevent excessive fermentation.
After four to six weeks of sun exposure, workers will be exposed to a variety of weather and temperature conditions
After removing the outer layer of pulp by machine, it is transported to addis for storage.
Sun-cured beans are usually stored in the form of shelled beans,
The shell is not removed until before export to ensure the quality of raw beans.
